		9/21/2009 -United Consulting is ISO 9001:2008 Certified ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world’s largest developer and publisher of International Standards. ISO 9001:2008 is a Quality Management System that is customized, within allowable guidelines, to the individual Company seeking certification. United Consulting recently completed an intense 18 months process of audits and inspections to obtain ISO 9001:2008 Certification. We are the only company of our type to have achieved this Certification in metropolitan Atlanta. While United Consulting has always provided the most accurate and reliable reports and test results, by implementing the full depth and breadth of ISO 9001:2008 the Management of United Consulting has made a commitment to our Clients to provide the best services available for your Consulting dollars. Through constant internal and external audits, staff meetings, staff training, review of our procedures and creating and implementing additional quality procedures, we are committed to providing the best, most reliable, Consulting services to our many Clients. The best way to gauge success with the ISO Certification is to solicit and respond to the Customer. We are committed, by the plan, to constantly obtain input from our Clients on a wide range of topics regarding our service, our reports, and our personnel. This feedback is reviewed regularly by the Senior Management of United Consulting and immediate changes to the Quality Management System can be made based on our Clients substantive comments. 		5/1/2009 -Russell Griebel, PG, RBP was elected Director of AWMA Alabama Chapter Russell Griebel, PG, RBP, Associate Environmental Specialist of United Consulting, was elected Director of Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA) Alabama Chapter. Mr. Griebel is the current out going (Past) Chair of the Georgia Chapter of the AWMA. Due to his leadership capabilities and with his move to Alabama he was nominated as a Director to the Alabama Chapter.

		3/7/2009 - Donald E. Hill, PE, Recieved the Lifetime Achievement in Engineering Award Donald E. Hill, PE, the chief engineer of United Consulting, is the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award in the 2009 Engineering Excellence Awards, presented by the Georgia Engineering Alliance. The award recognizes his many professional accomplishments, as well as his longtime commitment to advancing the engineering industry

		12/18/2008 - Registered Brownfield Professionals United Consulting is leading the way in Brownfield (Bf) development and has been involved in the Bf process for over five years in Georgia and other states providing our expertise to benefit developers in reducing environmental risk, limiting remediation efforts, and taxation benefits. As a sign of continued leadership, United Consulting announces that Kalen Kramer, PG and Seth Hobson have become Registered Brownfield Professionals (RBP) bringing our firm total to 4 RBPs. John F. Clerici, PE and Russell Griebel, PG were the first and second Registered Brownfield Professionals (RBPs) within the Institute of Brownfield Professionals (IBP) and the first in Georgia. The IBP is a not-for-profit organization designed to provide essential services to environmental professionals with expertise in brownfields revitalization and to assist others with concerns in that area. United Consulting's employees have the knowledge it takes to provide professional consulting services and cost effective solutions for any developers needs. 		12/16/2008 - Toys for Tots Thanks to all the employees here at United Consulting, over 130 gifts were collected for the Toys for Tots program this year!

		12/01/2008 - Salvation Army Angel Tree Program The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program is one of Atlanta's most beloved holiday traditions! Angel Tree provides holiday assistance to needy children in the form of brand newtoys and clothing each year. The gifts that are distributed to these children are entirely donated by Atlanta's generous corporations, churches, community organizations and individuals. This year, employees who volenteered, were given $50 to purchase toys and clothing for 25 angels. The toys were picked up the 1st of December by the Salvation Army to take to Santa and his elves for distribution.

		05/05/2008 - Myanmar Red Cross Fundraiser Raising funds for disaster victims worldwide is not new to the employees of United Consulting and is a philosophy shared by the management and staff alike - usually through donation matching programs. And this is exactly what we did again. Joining forces with the Red Cross, United Consulting employees raised a total of $5,784.00.

		04/02/2008 - Cookies For The Troups United Consulting raised over $1,800.00 to purchase a total of 45 cases of Girl Scouts cookies to ship to our troops overseas.
